Methodology
Our methodology is an integrated effort that seamlessly combines our domestic expertise, offshore processing, change management, and proprietary schematic models. Although each project will require customized solutions and individualized delivery, we use the following framework as a guide.

Domestic Expertise
Onsite Consultation: We will initiate the relationship by meeting with organizational executives and mutually determining the strategy that will best serve the organizational needs and goals. Our senior project managers and prospective clients will identify the project, outline a value proposition, and put a plan in motion.

Value Proposition: During this analysis our project managers will evaluate total costs that a customer expects to incur in evaluating, obtaining, and using our solutions versus total customer value that we expect to deliver in form of economic, functional, and psychological benefits.

Resource Designation: All clients will have a local, single point of contact available to them at all times. This project manager will handle all issues and escalate them as necessary. Our clients will receive no run around.

Relationship Management: To simplify matters, the client will work with a locally designated senior project manager, a manager who will head the local team. This team in turn will handle all offshore communications. This will be a very well structured relationship driven by customer needs.

Offshore Processing
Knowledge: Our offshore team members possess great technical expertise and advanced education in international business, integration, technology, and project management. Their combined experience and education allow Qvantage to exceed customer deliverables and enhance their overall offshore experience.

Availability/Scalability: Qvantage can scale up or down based on our clients’ needs and projects. Our offshore managers work closely with our American project managers to meet our clients’ project needs.

Infrastructure: Our locations boast state of the art technology coupled with high-speed communications infrastructure, systems redundancy, backup systems, and disaster recovery initiatives.

Change Management
Identify Elements of Assistance and Elements of Resistance: Often overlooked, change management is one of the most important areas for the success of any offshore project.

Let’s face it: Offshore outsourcing is a revolutionary way of doing business. It brings about change, and change is usually tough to embrace. Therefore a good outsourcer must look at the following variables, and capitalize on the elements of assistance while making appropriate adjustments for the elements of resistance.

Thought Process and Creativity Model
Our engineers and project managers use the following schematic model to generate solutions and to create alternatives. By putting customer needs in the middle of the circle, we can approach ideas for solutions from all four directions. We follow the following model to focus and to deliver value for our customers.

Visioning : What can we imagine as the ideal solution over the long run?
Modifying : What can we improve upon that has worked before?
Exploring : What metaphors can we use to challenge our assumptions?
Experimenting : What ideas can we collaborate/generate and test?

Fully Integrated Delivery Model
Our fully integrated project approach allows us to accelerate the generation and delivery of customer solutions. This model allows us to fill in the gaps in the current processes and initiate greater process control in all ongoing projects. Here we pay detailed attention to every aspect of our client: from organizational business goals, to final solution, to solution integration into business practices. A solution that fails to deliver value to our customer is a complete failure on our part.

Application Development and Maintenance Process (AD&M)
Qvantage uses all three schematic models listed on this page to maintain, develop, and deliver value added applications and business solutions to our clients. These three models carry our maintenance and development teams from the inception of the idea to its final delivery, while always maintaining focus on client’s needs and deliverables. This fully integrated approach acts as natural guide and also provides process controls along every phase of the project. These models were constructed based upon proven leadership skills, extensive integrated experience in business and technology fields, constant experimentation and improvement, and last but not least, theoretical knowledge gained from leading Business Graduate Schools.

Preliminaries : Our teams will understand our client’s business needs, project needs and ultimate goals. Our teams will work hand in hand with our client teams to cultivate relationships, develop methodologies, establish schedules, create study scope, conduct risk analysis, outline quality matrices, establish contingency plans, and understand budget constraints.

Design : In this phase our teams will work closely with our client teams to outline listing and layout of all content and materials. Based on our clients’ business rules and needs we will define functionality and determine theoretical and conceptual approach for user interface and navigation. We will further develop detailed application design, templates, and custom modules while outlining support and maintenance requirements, performance matrices and milestones, cost structure, and an acceptance test plan.

Prototype : After thoroughly alpha testing and re-testing the newly developed application in our development environment we will perform a controlled and functional beta launch of the project in our client’s environment. Here we will install and publish client data into the application and perform tests with live scenarios. This is a partial deployment of the application that in most cases will not effect our client’s business operations. It however will provide us with real time feedback based upon which further enhancements, comparisons, and improvements will be made.

Re-Design : In this phase we will make changes and improvements based on results gathered in the previous phase and as they relate to business rules, quality matrices, and project deliverables. After making the improvements we will re-prototype and re-compare the results with project deliverables. Only after complete client satisfaction will we move to the next and the final phase. Until all client deliverables are met there is a constant looping between prototype and re-design phases. This model allows us to make enhancements proactively limiting system downtime, increasing project acceptance and satisfaction, and improving user confidence.

Deploy : In this phase we will install the application in the client’s environment and continue with user acceptance testing. Our teams will document the entire process and provide our clients with complete documentation. For complete client satisfaction, our teams will conduct further performance testing in this phase. We will also provide training on the use and operation of the new application.
